Donate to charitable social work!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Lenten Collection – continue helping your neighbour, donate to charitable social work!
We direct the money donated to Caritas’ charitable social work in Finland to, for example, camp support for children and young people and food gift cards. Your donation will also be used for social counseling and work with Ukrainians in Finland.
Camp support enables a summer experience
Many low-income families have difficulty offering their children meaningful activities in the summer. They do not know how to cope with the costs of the holiday. Caritas’ Camp Support provides financial relief to these families. As summer approaches, the need for support is at its greatest.
Make a one-time donation
Become a monthly donor

Donating is simple. Firstly you choose the cause you want to support and then you choose the amount. You’ll receive an automatic thank you message once the money has been successfully directed towards its intended purpose.

The graphic below explains the process (in Finnish):
You can donate to Caritas Finland using many different methods
- The donation form via the website can be found on this website. The ‘Select donation destination’ option shows all the different options for both one-time and monthly donations.
- You can make a cash donation to Caritas Finland’s collection boxes and in the Caritas store.
- You can donate by bank transfer directly to the Caritas account. In this case, the different collection destinations have their own reference numbers.
- Caritas accepts donations via the Vipps/Mobile pay service. This service allows for both one-time and monthly donations. Monthly donations are automatically deducted from your account. You can stop a monthly donation directly from the MobilePay application, or by contacting Caritas Finland’s donor service, i.e. laura.koskelainen@caritas.fi.
Caritas Finland has an active fundraising permit
Caritas Finland has a fundraising permit granted by the National Police Board on February 16, 2022. The permit number is RA/2022/218. According to the permit, we can use the funds for the following purposes:
Caritas Finland’s own development cooperation projects and the self-financing portions of these projects, as well as the development of development cooperation projects.
Domestic work and immigrant integration work in Finland: guidance and counseling, social inclusion, organizing events, supporting camp fees, and supporting excursions. Integration work and the self-financing portions of projects supporting integration.
Disaster relief: Supporting international disaster relief efforts.
The contact person for donations is Laura Koskelainen. If you have any questions about donating, you can reach Laura at laura.koskelainen@caritas.fi or at 0400 305559.
The most effective way to help is through regular monthly donations. As a monthly donor, you help those who need it most and support communities and individuals in difficult situations.
We are also grateful for all one-time donations.
Caritas respects the dignity of all people, works to reduce inequality, and promotes a fair society for all.
