Support the Victims of the Nepal Floods!
Last week, on 26 August, massive floods struck Nepal. Caritas Nepal, a long-standing partner organization of Caritas Finland, is providing emergency assistance to flood-affected communities on the ground. You can support the response by donating via MobilePay to number 41770 ‘Hätäkeräys Caritas’ to Caritas Finland’s emergency appeal.
Caritas Nepal is working around the clock to deliver aid, including in the Rasuwa district, one of the areas hardest hit by the disaster. “The situation is extremely serious: hundreds and hundreds of people are missing. Efforts to mobilize assistance are now underway,” says Sunil Simon, a technical expert who has worked in our Nepal project.
